Traditional Thai YogaMassage 

Traditional Thai Massage is performed on a mat or cushion on the floor with the recipient fully clothed.  It is a combination of compression, accupressure and passive stretches or yoga postures.   There is no lotion or oil used.  Plan to wear or bring comfortable clothing such as sweat pants, shorts or yoga pants and a comfortable short or long sleeve t-shirt.  A Thai massage session typically lasts an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. 

Traditional Thai massage  is  based on a combination of Indian and Chinese traditions of medicine.  It is a deep, full-body massage progressing from the feet up, sometimes referred to as the lazy man's yoga.  It focuses on deep compression, like a traditional deep tissue massage and passive facilitated stretching.  This type of treatment is great whether you are currently fairly flexible or not.  The stretching and pressure are always modified to accommodate the needs and ability of each person receiving the massage. It is especially helpful for pain that is caused or exacerbated by stiffness or inactivity.
